A Taste Of Vietnam - Vancouver: Savor Authentic Vietnamese Comfort Food

Pretty decent comfy casual meal. Little shop is alright but not bougie by any means. Food is good but wouldn't consider it mind-blowing. Prices have gone up in general but it's alright for options in this area. Wouldn't say it's authentic but most of the items still tastes good so I have no qualms. Food wise, I really like this particular noodle soup. The mainstream pho is pretty good too. Holistically like comfy home cooking when I'm too lazy to cook. Did come here a fair bit.

Rlly cute hole in the wall restaurant, the best bahn mi I’ve had in Vancouver in a while. The bread was properly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Met the owners today too, rlly lovely people, 10/10 recommend!

This restaurant serves Vietnamese pho, sandwiches and rice dishes as well as Japanese ramen. I ordered their Sunshine pho which has meatballs and sliced beef and one raw egg on top. I thought that was why it was called Sunshine pho. That was what it shows on the menu. When I got the pho, it had a Japanese style poached egg instead. It is kind of weird to have that on my pho. Nonetheless, it tastes good and still has soft egg yolk. The soup base tastes okay. It can be a bit hotter in temperature. Once I added the raw bean sprouts in soup. It just feels lukewarm. Rice noodles cooked well and were not too soft which is nice. Overall, it was good. There are 2 sizes on most soup. Medium and large. I would come again when I am in this area.

Just picked up a spring roll and pork vermicelli combo from this location, and the customer service was incredible! They are so kind the restaurant is beautiful and cleaned, I look forward to going back to dine in soon!

I live nearby and I like this place, the food in general is very good and they serve it pretty fast, but today I went and after serving the pho, the lady went to the kitchen and never went out. I wanted to order something else but the lady never appeared. Aside from that, everything is excellent and I love the place:)

I've lived in Vancouver most of my life and never noticed or heard about this place til now! Glad my friend brought me here for lunch. Meat portions in my pho is more than most places I've been to. Great value for what you pay for so I definitely recommend it here. Will be bringing my wife here to try it out too.

This place has good taste but the food temperatures are not up too temperature. Soup dishes are served warm not hot. Service is also slow and lacking. It is a decent place for if one wants some Vietnamese cuisine last minute or cravings because it is located smack in downtown broadway area. It does have quite a big menu. Even serves ramen! Will we return? It is really 50/50. We won’t go out of our way specifically for this place but we may visit it once in a blue moon.

A hole in the wall Vietnamese place. Knowing this, the food is quite good. The lunch combo is a good deal compared to other places along Broadway. The decor is dated but adds charm to the place. They have WiFi. The waiters are efficient (no small talk, which I prefer). It can get busy during lunch. Simple menu. Good sized portions. Parking is not great though.
